I've got a fever... it's called xanga burnout and the only cure for that fever is more cowbell... or a giant break to get a breath of fresh air. Whatever... the good news is, I, Ansley Elizabeth, the xanga queen, am back. Please contain your excitement. Thanks.
Basically, it's not like I'm a sellout to myspace, or I'm too cool for school, or that i ran out of ideas (child puhlease). The bottom line behind my absense is due to a little thing i do called being a biology major. Wowwy school is harder than I ever imagined. I seem to forget I have other classes that aren't science related. I spend so much time reading and studying and "hangin' out in the lab" and just being a scientist in general that I am one busy gal.
The good news is that you have over 660 muscles in your body and i can tell you where each of them are, what there origin and insertions are and which nerve innervates it. Impressive? nah, it's just all part of a days work.
So, life throws things at you sometimes. Now it's not always roses like at the end of a recital, or money, which would be stinkin' amazing! Sometimes it's stuff more like shoes, heavy, blunt objects or decisions (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh). Who likes to make decisions? yuck
Thankfully, God makes those decisions a lot easier. Recently, He led me to a pretty huge one... I know what I'm going to do with the rest of my life... at least this week anyways...
I am no longer going to be Dr. Ansley Fillintheblank. Now, I'm going to be Nurse Anesthetist Ansley Fillintheblank. The only problem with this is that DBU sadly doesn't offer a nursing degree. Hence my decision to transfer to the University of Texas in Austin, baby! I'm pretty much uber stoked! I'm going to be a Longhorn, and get to work in the OR! God is so good, He's so good to me! |
